Is a Hidden Hand Destabilizing Iraq?

CIA Mockingbird Asset NYT Pushes Color Revolution Coup Attempt in Iraq By Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor, for Crescent International I wrote this article two weeks ago. Since then, it has become abundantly clear that its thesis is correct. -KB In early October, violent protests broke out in Baghdad and other Iraqi cities. Some of them degenerated into all-out riots. Eight members of the security forces and almost 100 civilians were killed, and more than 5,000 wounded. At the time of this writing (October 21), the situation is beginning to flare up again as the Arba‘in pilgrimage winds down. The…

Iranian Spying? or Neocon 9/11 Coverup?

Questioning the USG/NYT official story on Marzieh Hashemi, Monica Witt, New Horizon…and yours truly By Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor, for Unz.com It wasn’t the first time I’ve been prominently libeled in The New York Times. Nor was it the worst. Compared to Stanley Fish’s grotesquely mendacious 2006 op-edtrashing me for something I never did—advocating 9/11 truth in the classroom[1]—Alan Blinder, Julie Turkewitz and Adam Goldman treated me fairly well on today’s Sunday NYT front pageby calling me a “controversial scholar of Islam” while accurately reporting what I said about Monica Witt, the ex-Air Force officer accused of spying for…

NYT bias and hypocrisy on display in Turkey election “analysis”

By Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor Usually Zio-America’s newspaper of record hides its biases more effectively. Last week on False Flag Weekly News our story #35 was headlined: “NYT (CIA/Mossad/Mockingbird?) pushing extreme anti-Erdogan propaganda.” That NYT pre-election article ludicrously suggested that Erdogan was likely to lose to Kemalist opposition candidate Muharrem Ince. (In fact, the polls clearly projected a strong Ergodan victory.) It was a shameless and undisguised puff piece for Ince, and a hit piece on Erdogan. Today, in the wake of Erdogan’s predictable victory, the NYT should be apologizing for its delusional projection of a likely Ince win. Instead,…

The New York Times headline “The United States of Paranoia” would have been perfect for a story about the “war on terror.” After all, you are more than ten times more likely to drown in your bathtub or be struck by lightning than to…

NY Times: “Are Conspiracy Theories All Bad?”

The New York Times just published six short op-eds collectively entitled “Are Conspiracy Theories All Bad?” Amazingly, they’re not ALL bad. (The articles, not the theories.) Amidst the claptrap from figures like 9/11 cover-up criminal Cass Sunstein and airhead “social psychologist” Karen Douglas, the Times features decent short essays by Annie Jacobsen, Timothy Melley and Harriet Washington. But the whole exercise begs the million dollar question: Are the best-known “conspiracy theories” – starting with the alternative narratives of the JFK and 9/11 coups – true? In those two cases, only an ignoramus could possibly fail to answer with an unqualified…

NY Times references Silverstein’s WTC demolition scam

The New York Times promises “all the news that’s fit to print.”  Until now, the Times apparently believed the controlled demolitions of three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11 was news that was unfit to print.  But today, on April 1st, 2014, the Times has finally published an apparent reference to World Trade Center owner Larry Silverstein’s mother-of-all-insurance-scams. And no, that is not an April Fool’s joke. Full article: http://www.veteranstoday.com/2014/04/01/nytimes-larry/

USA has gone fascist – I’m living proof!

No, no, no, I’m not trading in my truth jihad for Homeland Security jackboots! It’s the witch-hunt that drove me out of the academy, and robbed me of a projected $2 million in lifetime earnings, that’s proof America has followed Nazi Germany, Mussolini’s Italy, Franco’s Spain, and Pinochet’s Chile down the path to fascism. That is what Naomi Wolf says in her New York Times bestseller The End of America, anyway. Wolf writes that one of the ten steps to fascism is: TARGET KEY INDIVIDUALS. She considers me one of those key individuals. I’m flattered. She even compares me to…

It’s hard to write satire these days

How can you write satire, when “mainstream consensus reality” is already a dark parody of itself? Marx’s remark that history repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce, applies in spades to the Project for a New American Century (PNAC).  PNAC’s “new Pearl Harbor” on 9/11 was tragic. Today, its “more wars for Israel” cheerleading is farcical.  For details, see my new article: 9/11 PNAC perps still whining for US to fight Israel’s wars So there’s just no way that a satirist can keep up with the absurdity of reality. But somebody’s got to try:President Morsi should apologize – to…
