European states expressed deep concern over Israeli regime’s attack on Palestinian NGOs. Israeli troops ransacked offices of Palestinian NGOs in occupied West Bank and confiscated their equipment. UN rights council ends probe into possible war crimes by Saudi-led coalition in Yemen

PressTV.ir The UN Human Rights Council has voted to drop a UN probe into possible war crimes by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen. NGOs and rights groups have decried the decision as intense Saudi arm-twisting. It marked the first time in the council’s 15-year history that a resolution was defeated. The motion was proposed by several western countries. The Dutch ambassador expressed his disappointment, saying the Council effectively cut the lifeline of the Yemeni people to the international community. Earlier this week, several rights advocacy groups revealed that Saudi Arabia had been heavily lobbying against the resolution that would extend…

Amnesty, rights groups blast Saudi execution of Shia youth

Press TV interview with Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor The Saudis just murdered Mustafa Hashem al-Darwish, who committed the “crime” of protesting when he was a teenager. Western human rights groups may protest, but Western governments will never move against the Saudis. Why not? Because Western governments are owned by criminal oligarchs who are just as nasty as the Saudi gangsters, though perhaps slightly more competent. (They only use bone saws when they can get away with it.)

Press TV interview with Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor BS is so narcissistic he orders the kidnapping, torture, and murder of people who aren’t even serious dissidents, much less an actionable threat. He’s digging his own grave. -KB American officials who have read the classified intelligence reports related to Saudi crown prince say Mohammed bin Salman authorized a secret campaign to silence dissidents. UN Inquiry: Khashoggi murder planned,‎ perpetrated by Saudi officials

Press TV interview with Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor A UN-led probe into Jamal Khashoggi’s murder has concluded that the Saudi dissident was the victim of a “brutal and premeditated killing” planned and perpetrated by the kingdom’s officials. Agnes Callamard, UN special rapporteur for extrajudicial summary or arbitrary executions, said in Geneva Thursday that Saudi officials had “seriously undermined” and delayed Turkey’s efforts to investigate the crime scene at the kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul in October last year. Callamard noted that they had access only to a part of “chilling and gruesome audio material” of the dissident journalist’s death, obtained by the Turkish intelligence agency. Elsewhere in…

Bahrain regime seeks to kidnap and torture soccer star Hakeem al-Araibi

The morning after the Super Bore, South African station Radio Islam International called me to ask about football. But not the Patriots-Rams snorefest! Instead, they wanted an opinion on the Bahraini regime’s attempt to recapture and re-torture footballer (soccer player) Hakeem al-Araibi. His crime: speaking out against the regime back in 2011. Middle Eastern “football” is even more politically charged than the American “stand for the anthem or else” game.  Underdog Qatar’s dazzling victory in the Asia cup a few days ago smeared egg all over the faces of the tyrants ruling Saudi Arabia and the UAE, whose blockade (an…
