    Dear Kevin,

What? What" democracy" ? Conspiracy theories are exposing corruption!

I saw this story on the BBC News iPad App and thought you should see it:

    Are conspiracy theories destroying democracy?

We all love a good conspiracy theory, but are they undermining trust in democratic institutions, asks a major new research project at Cambridge University.

Kevin, I stumbled across this 1/2 hour youtube the other day. Guy takes your 2-some minute appearance on Hannity/Colmes, and deconstructs it for not only the overt/verbal, but mostly for the nonverbal/NLP techniques used by… mostly Hannity.

The run time could be reduced as the guy repeats & belabors some observations, but overall he certainly makes his point.

Separately, a couple of 'gripes' — I find your "early access for TJ subscribers" setup confusing. I thought I read in this same blog entry earlier, that this Tracy interview had already taken place, I think it was Sat Oct 26, and that TJ subscribers could access it as of then. So I thought today, NLR would post the podcast available to all. But as of this writing (Oct 29 ~11pm Central), the Tracy podcast is still password protected.

Secondly, while I'm happy NLR is hosting both your NLR & TJR podcasts all commercial free; I wish I didn't have to be tethered to my laptop because of the need to play the audios only through NLR's player console, with no option to download the MP3 for listening anywhere with the freedom of an MP3 player. Insult to injury, the max volume of their console is just marginal enough for me to hear in an otherwise quiet room. I usually get frustrated and need to deploy my big bulky headphones when I tire of straining to hear it. With an MP3 file, I can also crank my VLC-Player's volume to 200% to easily hear even podcasts with low audio levels.

Can NLR puleeeez consider posting downloadable MP3 files in addition to their player console? Thanks… 🙂

  3. If is significantly late posting the shows, as in this case, the person to remind is: AllanRees(at)NoLiesRadio(dot)org

MP3 downloads are available for subscribers. Just go to and look in the left margin area to sign up. Once you have an account, just sign in, and look around the "wall" and "private blog" areas and you'll soon find the instructions for how members can download shows.
