Hell-Raising Professor & Academic Freedom Icon Denis Rancourt

Tuesday, September 28th, 9-10 a.m. Pacific (noon-1 pm Eastern) on http://NoLiesRadio.org, to be archived here a few hours after broadcast…

Guest: Denis Rancourt of the Activist Teacher blog. University of Ottowa physics professor Denis Rancourt is one of the rare academicians with too much integrity to fit comfortably into North America’s increasingly corrupt higher education system. Arrested, handcuffed, escorted off campus and fired for bucking the grading system — even though he was tenured — Denis Rancourt definitely my kind of scholar…and what’s more, he has recently started questioning 9/11!

    Hi Kevin,

I listened to most of your show with Denis Rancourt and I could hear your jaw dropping in the background when he started talking all that weird nonsense about how lots of things could cause the steel to melt, nanothermite could be formed spontaneously during collapse by mysterious unknown processes, don't know nothin' 'bout no tiny bone fragments, etc., etc.

What's with him? Is he some kind of modified limited hangout gatekeeper? He's supposed to be a physicist? Maybe that's why they canned him.

  3. I don't think we should assume that everybody who doesn't initially completely agree with us is an idiot or gatekeeper. Denis is fairly new to this issue and will hopefully figure it out before too long.
