What is Behind “Russiagate”? by Mujahid Kamran

I have been traveling in Spain and Morocco, so I am a couple of weeks late posting this new piece by NWO researcher and physics professor Mujahid Kamran. His brand new book The World Order: How It Works, which develops his VT article of the same name, should be available soon.   –Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor

What is Behind “Russiagate”?

by Mujahid Kamran

We will know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.                                 -Former CIA Director William Casey 1981

Two extremely important facts about the United States of America must always be borne in mind.  Firstly, the US military industrial complex (MIC) eats about one trillion dollars from the US kitty every year. The military industry is privately owned. It has been established that over the past two decades or so, a total of $21 trillion have gone missing from the US government accounts.  This unbelievable discovery was made by Dr. Mark Skidmore, Associate Professor, Michigan State University, and Catherine Austin Fitts, former Assistant Secretary for Housing and Urban Development [1]. It has been pointed out by Professor Joan Roelofs that the MIC now dominates every important facet of US life. Based on her research, she concludes that the military-industrial complex has now become the military-industrial-congressional-almost-everything complex [2].

The second related fact is a consequence of the enormous money at the disposal of the MIC. The MIC “owns” the Congress, the media, and now increasingly, the universities. In a recent article “The CIA and the Media: 50 facts the World Needs to Know” posted on Global Research, James F. Tracy provides a list of US media outlets that are under CIA control [3]. In addition, he also describes efforts by CIA to purchase journalists in Europe. Former Assistant Secretary of Treasury, Paul Craig Roberts states [4]:

“And don’t forget Udo Ulfkotte, an editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, who wrote in his best seller, Bought Journalism, that there was not a significant journalist in Europe who was not on the CIA’s payroll. The English language edition of Ulfkotte’s book has been suppressed and prevented from publication.”

When this author checked amazon.com for this book (on September 17, 2018) the title Journalists for Hire: How the CIA Buys the News (by Dr. Udo Ulfkotte Ph.D.) was selling at $780.66 a piece, and only two unused copies were available (two used copies at $900 each, were also available)! Paul Craig Roberts has also stated that that when he received his briefing as a staff associate of the House Defence Appropriations Subcommittee, he was informed by a “senior member of the committee that the Washington Post was a CIA asset.” To become a staff associate of the said committee top security clearance was required [5].

So what is “Russia-hack” about? Why has Trump been targeted by the mainstream media?  The persistence, vehemence and intensity of the media onslaught on Trump emanates from the MIC control of media. Trump’s attempts to reduce tensions with Russia are at the root of the “Russia-hack” fiction.  Reduction of tensions with Russia will lead to a drastic reduction in the one-trillion-dollar heist being enjoyed by the privately owned MIC.  The claim that Russians hacked into Democratic National Committee (DNC) computers to help Trump in defeating Hillary Clinton has no basis. As Stephen Lendman wrote (emphasis in original) [6]:

Propaganda works, proved eective time and again – why it’s a key tool in America’s deep state playbook. Virtually anything repeated enough, especially through the major media megaphone, gets most people to believe it – no matter how preposterous the claim. Not a shred of evidence suggests Russia meddled in America’s political process – nothing.”

On July 24, 2017, intel vets belonging to VIPS (Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity) challenged the “Russia Hack” evidence. In a memorandum to the President, sixteen veteran intelligence officers wrote that forensic studies had clearly established that DNC computers were NOT hacked. The studies indicated that (emphasis in original) “on July 5, 2016 data was leaked (not hacked) by a person with physical access to DNC computers, then doctored to incriminate Russia.” The veteran intel officers further wrote (emphasis in original i.e. in the antiwar blog post) [7]:

“After examining metadata from the “Guccifer 2.0” July 5, 2016 intrusion into the DNC server, independent cyber investigators have concluded that an insider copied DNC data onto an external storage device, and that “telltale signs” implicating Russia were then inserted. Key among the findings of the independent forensic investigations is the conclusion that the DNC data was copied onto a storage device at a speed that far exceeds an Internet capability for a remote hack. Of equal importance, the forensics show that the copying and doctoring were performed on the East coast of the U.S. Thus far, mainstream media have ignored the findings of these independent studies.”

Why did the media ignore these independent studies? Simply because those who run the World Order must mould the American mind in the direction of waging war against Russia, if Russia does not submit to US hegemony. Therefore, the public must be made to accept a concocted charge, an utter lie, so that Russia is identified as an enemy of American “Democracy”. The authors of the above memorandum also wrote [8]:

“Why the FBI neglected to perform any independent forensics on the original “Guccifer 2.0” material remains a mystery – as does the lack of any sign that the “hand-picked analysts” from the FBI, CIA, and NSA, who wrote the “Intelligence Community Assessment” dated January 6, 2017, gave any attention to forensics.”

The authors of the memorandum point out that the January 6 “Intelligence Community Assessment” by “hand-picked” analysts from the FBI, CIA, and NSA seems to fit into the same agenda-driven category. It is largely based on an “assessment,” not supported by any apparent evidence . . .”

What is the agenda? It is simple: the public must believe that Russia is the enemy of US “Democracy”, and Trump must not be allowed to improve relations with Russia. If he does make an attempt, he must be portrayed as being indebted to Putin for favouring him by hacking into DNC computers! Trump should thereby be accused of betraying US interests, even treason!

On 19 July 2018, John Solomon of The Hill reported that FBI employee Lisa Page revealed to a Congressional committee under oath that a text exchanged between her and her lover Peter Strzok, also employed by FBI, meant that there was nothing in the Russian hack case. The text of the 19 May, 2017 message read: “There’s no big there there,” – Lisa Page explained that it meant that there was nothing big in the Russia hack case against Trump. The Hill reports [9]:

“Since the text was turned over to Congress, investigators wondered whether it referred to the evidence against the Trump campaign. This month, they finally got the chance to ask. Strzok declined to say but Page, during a closed-door interview with lawmakers, confirmed in the most pained and contorted way that the message in fact referred to the quality of the Russia case, according to multiple eyewitnesses.

The admission is deeply consequential. It means Rosenstein unleashed the most awesome powers of a special counsel to investigate an allegation that the key FBI officials, driving the investigation for 10 months beforehand, did not think was ‘there’.”

The above report also points out that even before Mueller was appointed to investigate “Russia hack”, the FBI had investigated the matter quite thoroughly and, James Comey, the FBI head fired by Trump, admitted before the Congress that the core allegation in the case could not be corroborated. John Solomon writes: “In other words, they had a big nothing burger. And, based on that empty calorie dish, Rosenstein authorized the buffet menu of a special prosecutor that has cost America millions of dollars and months of political strife.” Apparently, FBI knowingly used a dossier funded by the Hillary Clinton camp. This dossier contained “uncorroborated allegations.”

For almost two years the MIC backed charade of “Russiagate” has been running. And there has not been a shred of evidence about Russia having hacked DNC computers or in any other way having helped Trump get elected. As Paul Craig Roberts wrote on August 23, 2018 [10]:

“After two years the only evidence we have of Russiagate is that it is a conspiracy against President Trump and the American people. Indeed, Mueller, fully aware that there was no Trump-Putin conspiracy, has not bothered to look for any evidence as there can be no evidence of something that did not happen. He pulled out of a hat some phony and meaningless indictments of some Russians in order to make it look like there was a conspiracy without having to prove it, but his main focus has been on framing Paul Manafort.

Mueller’s investigation of Manafort has nothing to do with the Russiagate story line. Manafort’s alleged crimes are far outside Mueller’s mandate and took place, if they did, years before the alleged events of Russiagate. Manafort’s conviction by a jury on 8 of the 18 counts is being misrepresented by the Trump-hating presstitutes as vindication of the Russiagate investigation and as “A dark day for Trump,” with the presstitutes suggesting a Watergate parallel that will force Trump from office.”

What was Manafort found guilty of? Manafort was not found guilty of Russiagate.  He was charged with tax-evasion by “misrepresenting his financial position on a loan application.” Manafort did not mention on his tax returns from 2010-2014 (5 years), earnings of $30 million (Ukrianian payments) that he transferred to the US and did not pay tax on them [11]. This made up five out of his eight guilty counts. Manafort had not mentioned that he was a lobbyist for Ukraine, a country that is friendly to the US. To be guilty of tax-evasion does not mean that the Russia-hack story is true. And Mueller was assigned the task of finding out evidence of Russia-hack and not of tax evasion by a Trump team member. This matter, as noted by Roberts, lies in the jurisdiction of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), not the special prosecutor of the “Russia hack” case. And to break Manafort psychologically, so that he may say something false which could incriminate Trump, he was kept in solitary confinement. This is 21st century America!

Kevin Barrett has pointed that if Manafort can be apprehended because he was an “unregistered agent” of a foreign country (Ukraine) then the same must apply for the Israel lobby. American law requires that if one is lobbying with government officials for a foreign government in the US then one must register formally with the Justice Department. This law is seldom enforced because then the Israel lobby too would have to register. But now that Manafort has been held for not registering with the Justice Department the must be applied across the board, and in particular, the powerful Israel lobbyists who have not bothered to register, must be brought to book. Barrett quotes the well-known writer James Petras, who estimates that around 500,000 foot soldiers of the Israel lobby operate in the US. Barrett writes [12]:

“Why should Philip Zelikow, sole author of 9/11 Commission Report and presumed author of the script for 9/11 itself, be allowed to ‘create and maintain public myths’ on behalf of Israel without registering as a foreign agent? Why should Rabbi Don Zakheim be allowed to serve as comptroller of the Pentagon and ‘lose 2.3 trillion dollars the night before 9/11 on behalf of the state of Israel, without registering as a foreign agent? Why should IDF veteran and presumed Mossad honcho Rahm Emmanuel be allowed to run Obama’s presidency from his perch as the White House Chief of Staff, torpedoing Obama’s plan to end wars, close Guantanamo, and prosecute torturers, without registering as a foreign agent?”

The list is endless. Larry Silverstein who walked away with 5 billion dollars after blowing up his own buildings and confessing to the deed with registering as an Israeli agent. Judge Alvin Hallerstein has not registered as a Zionist agent but has been given control of all 9/11 documents so that he may suppress or quash any discovery implicating Israel. Jerome Hauer apparently managed the anthrax attacks and helped orchestrate 9/11 attacks without registering as an Israeli lobbyist. And above all, as Kevin Barrett puts it [13]:

“Why should the owners and editors of most of mainstream media (MSM) and most of the pseudo-alternative media, including the right-wing and left-wing versions, be allowed to cover up 9/11 and otherwise carry water for Israel without even registering?”

This is the same MSM that is targeting the exceptionally pro-Israel Trump, because the MIC, whose owners own not just the military-industry, but also Israel, do not want any peace and normalisation of ties with Russia. Israel will not come to Trump’s rescue, but shall, instead, look for directions from her masters, the oldest and richest international bankers.

In an interesting move Trump has ordered declassification of sensitive documents and communications related to “Russia gate.” A story by Jordan Fabian, Olivia Beavers and Morgan Chalfant of The Hill, filed on September 17, 2018, states [14]:

“President Trump has ordered the declassification of a series of highly sensitive documents related to the Russia investigation, the White House announced Monday. Under the order, classified parts of a surveillance application that allowed the FBI to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page will become public in addition to “all text messages relating to the Russia investigation” from former FBI Director James Comey and several other top federal officials.”

On September 19, 2018 President Trump defended his decision on-camera, stating that his decision was motivated by a desire for “total transparency”. His primary target, of course, is what he described, correctly, as a “terrible witch hunt.” [15] The decision was taken on the request of a number of Congressional committees. However, such an order will result in a review process by the various agencies involved such as FBI, as to what should or should not be released!. In this review process the agencies, which are already arraigned against Trump, might selectively release information, instead of releasing all the texts. There is a possibility that the selectivity might be skewed against Trump and in the direction of protection of misconduct of FBI officials in this regard.

Republican congressman Mark Meadows welcomed Trump’s decision [16]: “As Congress has investigated, we ‘ve continued to see more and more troubling evidence suggesting multiple senior FBI and DOJ officers acting in a deeply unethical fashion during the 2016 campaign and throughout the early stages of the Trump administration.” Astonishingly Democratic representative Adam Schiff called the decision a “clear abuse of power” aimed at advancing a “false narrative.” How could release of all documents and texts in the matter advance a false narrative is something one fails to understand.

Interestingly, the famed journalist and writer Bob Woodward has written a book, titled Fear, on the Trump presidency. Ian Schwartz reported on September 14, 2018 [17]:

“In an interview with Hugh Hewitt on Friday, Bob Woodward said that in his two years of investigating for his new book Fear, he found no evidence of collusion or espionage between Trump and Russia. Woodward said he looked for it ‘hard’ and yet turned up nothing.”

Paul Craig Roberts, who does not have a high opinion of Trump, has repeatedly emphasised that there is an intrigue to oust the elected president of the United States.  As far back as 24 July, 2017, he wrote [18]:

“US intelligence services, the Democratic Party, some Republicans including members of President Trump’s own government, and the presstitute US media are conspiring against American democracy and the President of the United States.”

More than a year later, on August 23, 2018, he wrote [19]:

“Obama’s CIA director, John Brennan, quickly organized the Russiagate conspiracy against Trump. Comey, Rosenstein, Clapper, Mueller, McCabe, Peter Strzok and others were, and are, apparently implicated as active participants in orchestrating an alleged collusion between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin to steal the US presidential election. Based on deception of the FISA Court, warrants were illegally obtained that became the basis for appointing Mueller as a special prosecutor to construct by whatever means possible a case against President Trump.”

In a very significant, and a very interesting, development the British government its grave concern at the release of all texts and documents without redaction! This made Trump change his mind, allowing the DoJ Inspector General to review the materials first. Thus change might cause considerable delay in the release of the documents because the DoJ is not in Trump’s favour. Further the selection is likely to be skewed in a manner as to protect the unethical conduct of DoJ and FBI officials.

But why has Britain intervened? Why is the British government so anxious? On the surface of it, UK has argued that the former MI6 agent Christopher Steele will be explicitly exposed as will be his conversations with the US officials. So what? What right had an MI6 agent ( or a former MI6 agent – they do say that once in the “company” you are always in the “company”) to prepare a dossier that was meant to influence the outcome of the US elections against Trump? And no such dossier would have been prepared for consumption of US officials without approval of the highest levels of MI6 administration.  It is difficult to believe that the MI6 would have hatched such a plot without the knowledge of the British PM. If there was interference in the US elections, it was by UK, not Russia. The concocted “Steele dossier” was aimed at bringing Hillary Clinton to power. Why? The only reason could be to enhance the possibility of war with Russia. Britain gains in importance in case of conflict between US and Russia and the British and American elites gain immeasurable profits from war. If there is peace between US and Russia, UK will become peripheral for the world and no dirty profits. Zero Hedge writes [20]:

“Perhaps the Brits are also concerned since much of the espionage performed on the Trump campaign was conducted on UK soil throughout 2016. Recall that Trump aid George Papadopoulos was lured to London in March, 2016, where Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud fed him the rumor that Russia had dirt on Hillary Clinton. It was later at a London bar that Papadopoulos would drunkenly pass the rumor to Australian diplomat Alexander Downer (who Strzok flew to London to meet with). Also recall that CIA/FBI “informant” (spy) Stefan Halper met with both Carter Page and Papadopoulos in London.

Zero Hedge adds:

“In short, it’s understandable that the UK would prefer to hide their involvement in the “witch hunt” of Donald Trump since much of the counterintelligence investigation was conducted on UK soil. And if the Brits had knowledge of the operation, it will bolster claims that they meddled in the 2016 US election by assisting what appears to have been a set-up from the start. Steele’s ham-handed dossier is a mere embarrassment, as virtually none of the claims asserted by the former MI6 agent have been proven true.”

The situation about Russiagate was summed up in a story by John Solomon on 16 September, 2018. He points out that when history is written the following eight words uttered by FBI employee Lisa Page will stand out [21]: “It’s a reflection of us still not knowing.” This was what Lisa Page told Republican Congressman John Ratcliffe in the context of her text to her FBI lover John Strzok.

The famous FBI whistle blower Sibel Edmonds had a video message for President Trump, posted on you tube on August 2, 2018 [22]:

“Your CIA is compromised and is acting against you. . . Hundreds of millions of US tax-payers dollars have been poured into this witch hunt instigated by Clinton’s extension Robert Mueller, whom I consider a criminal, and several other FBI criminals. . . Act before it is too late.”

So do we have “Russia hack” or “London gate”? There is no evidence for “Russia hack” but there is evidence for “London gate”.
