The West claims to be the “free world”—the global leader in human rights, humanitarianism, and free expression. Globetrotting independent journalist André Vltchek, who joins us from Borneo, isn’t buying it. His latest essay begins:
Western culture is clearly obsessed with rules, guilt, submissiveness and punishment.
By now it is clear that the West is the least free society on Earth. In North America and Europe, almost everyone is under constant scrutiny: people are spied on, observed, their personal information is being continually extracted, and the surveillance cameras are used indiscriminately.
Life is synchronized and managed. There are hardly any surprises.
One can sleep with whomever he or she wishes (as long as it is done within the ‘allowed protocol’). Homosexuality and bisexuality are allowed. But that is about all; that is how far ‘freedom’ usually stretches.
Rebellion is not only discouraged, it is fought against, brutally. For the tiniest misdemeanors or errors, people end up behind bars. As a result, the U.S. has more prisoners per capita than any other country on Earth, except the Seychelles.

Answer : One is a evil, cold-blooded, venomous, slimy creature of Satan, and the other is a snake.
Made me lose all the respect I had for Andre!! I tell it like I SEE it. You cannot write about Anti Imperialism etc if you overlook WHO IS BEHIND it all.

With all his travels as a journalist it is very disappointing to hear him reluctant to talk on a very important topic which is very pertinent to the world events that he says he covers and yet he chooses to be politically correct, dodge the bullet so to speak and AVOID talking about the REAL ROOT CAUSES of world events and bloody wars.
A journalist who does that frankly can talk all he wants and write all he wants but he lacks Integrity and truth if he chooses to fudge such an important Issue. Very disappointing response from which sadly makes one lose respect for such a proclaimed ‘Anti Imperialist writer
If you avoid the Jewish and Zionist Connection, then frankly you are duping yourself and your readers and being disingenuous in your claim to be Anti War, Anti Colonialist.

once again I could not continue listening as there is NO POINT when someone REFUSES to openly discuss the ROOT causes of the EVIL afflicting Humanity today.
I have personally had chats with Andre and am extremely shocked and disappointed at his reluctance to pursue the topic you put to him.
Guess he is anxious to keep his collaboration with the likes of that covert over rated Leftie Zionist Jew, phony Anti War, Pro Israel Noam Chomsky who still denies Israel’s role in 911 and who is keen on USA attacking Syria and whose Activism is as PHONY as Alex Jones
