My April Fool’s Day satire “Veterans Today Endorses Donald Trump” angered a few of my listeners. They thought I was overly disrespectful to the President. So in the interest of fairness and balance, I am bringing on two articulate, intelligent guests to explain the positive side of the Trump phenomenon.

First half hour: Jim Fetzer needs no introduction to most of my listeners. One of the most colorful and controversial alternative media figures in America, Distinguished McKnight Professor Emeritus James Fetzer (Philosophy, University of Minnesota-Duluth) is the former co-host of False Flag Weekly News and the author and/or editor of many books on current events, philosophy, and other topics. Jim and I parted ways beginning in late 2015 over Jim’s enthusiastic support for then-presidential long-shot Donald Trump and his proposed “Muslim ban.” Jim is currently less enthusiastic about Trump than he was a few months ago, but still very much on the bandwagon. Can we have a civil conversation about Trump despite our markedly different viewpoints? Listen and find out.

Terrorist is now a “sympathetic Jewish victim”

Second half hour: Gilad Atzmon‘s new book Being in Time: The Post-Political Manifesto shreds left-liberal political correctness and exults in the rise of patriotism and nationalism among the working classes, as exemplified by the stunning victories of Brexit and Trump. While not exactly a Trump fan, Gilad is very happy to note the “general fatigue of the tyranny of correctness, Identitarian misanthropy and, more than anything else, the lack of a future that is attached to the prominence of Wall Street and Mammonism in general” and suspects that the future belongs to make-America-great-again style nostalgic utopian nationalism.
Even more controversially, Gilad discusses the phenomenon of “Jewish false flags” in which Jews commit crimes designed to be pinned on their enemies as apparent ploys for sympathy – and when they get caught, they beg for even more sympathy! One recent example: the Israeli teen behind the bomb threats to Jewish community centers (which Trump correctly predicted would turn out to be a false flag). This false flag led to the banning of hundreds of books that Jews don’t like. Now that we know a Jew did it, will those books be un-banned? Don’t bet on it.
Another example: Florida false-flag terrorist Joshua Goldberg, whose horrific (and horrifically, obviously phony) “anti-Semitic” art work was used in a covert operation to get Professor Anthony Hall suspended from the University of Lethbridge. Despite committing numerous acts of terrorism, Joshua Goldberg’s trial “was suspended after it emerged that he had previously been diagnosed with schizophrenia and anxiety disorder as part of a long history of mental illness, and he was found incompetent to stand trial pending efforts by doctors to return him to competence.” (Wikipedia)

“The most reliable sign, the most universal behavior of unscrupulous people is not directed, as one might imagine, at our fearfulness. It is, perversely, an appeal to our sympathy.” -Martha Stout, The Sociopath Next Door

Trump is only slightly different than obama and bush … he is clearly not going to be the savior fetzer and rense were hoping for. Trump is "surrounded" by enemies of the American people thru his own choosing!!!

I have listened with great interest to some of your No Lies radio programs, most recently to your to your April 2nd program with Dr. Ang Swee Chai and Dr. Ibrahim Soudy.

As a non-Muslim (as a Christian), I particularly find the theological discussions regarding Islam to be very interesting and educational. I find Dr. Soudy to be a very informed speaker. While I enjoy listening to a good back and forth discourse between you and your guest(s), respectfully, I have a suggestion, and that is, when you have a guest on to your show like Dr. Soudy, it is assumed this person was chosen to speak (or be interviewed) because they are intelligent, a subject matter expert, and have something of value to share with your listeners, so it would be great if you would consider letting them just finish their thoughts. Interruptions can be distracting (vs. "entertaining"), and can actually use up more time on the show than if they could simply finish and then move on from there.

Thank you! I look forward to listening to more of these dialogues.

  3. Thank you for the excellent feedback!
While I like some quick back-and-forth with guests, I think you’re right that in some cases I should be taking notes and then going back to the issues I wanted to respond to. The problem is sometimes the guests string together a fairly long monologue of somewhat different topics A-B-C-D-E-F-G and I really need to respond to B. Or sometimes B is so outrageously offensive or wrongheaded that to let it go implies acquiescence.
So it’s a judgment call…trying to walk a fine line between letting guests talk, and having a rapidly-moving dialogue.
By the way…There will be excellent “Islam-related theological dialogues” coming up – with Eric Walberg this Friday 9 to 10 pm Eastern, then the illustrious Khaled Abou el Fadl next week.
