New studies: ‘Conspiracy theorists’ sane; government dupes crazy, hostile

Is this building collapsing…or exploding?

“The new study by Wood and Douglas suggests that the negative stereotype of the conspiracy theorist – a hostile fanatic wedded to the truth of his own fringe theory – accurately describes the people who defend the official account of 9/11, not those who dispute it.”

    Morning Kevin,

I am reminded by today's American led witch-hunt of Edward Snowdon of the persecution and execution of William Tyndale by the English authorities. Tyndale also revealed secret information to the English people.

In 1500, the bible was still in Latin. Its translation to English was illegal and carried the penalty of death.

Nevertheless, Tyndale wanted the people to be able to unlock its secrets, hitherto the domain of the pious priesthood ( The high priests of the NSA ). Their Latin bible gave these high priests their immense privileges, their castles, servants, wealth and power over the people and even over the King himself!

The priests spoke in the local tongue with the people, but they also spoke with God – in Latin. The people feared and cowered in awe of the close bond of the priesthood to the Almighty.

William Tyndale (read: Julian Assange , Brad Manning, Ed Snowdon) gave to the people the bible in English, but paid with his life. Tyndale, like Snowdon and Assange, had to flee the English secret service assassins and found refuge in Worms, Germany. From here, he secretly sent his english copies of the bible across the channel to England, to the people. Anyone discovered reading the English bible would be executed. The "King John" bible which the Pilgrim Fathers took with them to our new colonies in America to flee the persecution of the king and the English high church is actually Tyndale' s "Geneva" bible.

Most American homes and churches today have a copy of Tyndale's bible. We can say, that America was built on this book. A book given to the people by one man. A man hunted down by the king and the church priests. A man whose beliefs and passions could not be broken by the state.

The King took Tyndale's bible and put his own name on it. What the king had once sought to prohibit, he now claimed as his own.

One good man, Tyndale, defeated the all-mighty and omnipresent evil establishment, armed only with his pen.

You see, the bible was never meant to be the personal property of the priesthood. God' s word is revealed for everyone. Tyndale did God's will and gave the people what was theirs.

Today, the English version of the bible and the hebrew old testament translated by Tyndale is the most widespread, owned and read book on the planet. Thanks to one man, history and the planet changed. The evil church clergy lost their financial and spiritual stranglehold over the good and pious people of this small island. The translation of the bible into the vernacular English allowed the gates of heaven to be revealed directly to each english plough boy.

King Henry Vlll of England established himself as head ( Fidi Defensor) of his own English catholic church. He ordered each english parish to chain an English bible to its pulpit. For all the folk to read. His daughter, Elizabeth l defeated the global Catholic superpower, Spain. England then was free to colonise 1/4 of the world and gave the world the industrial revolution. This is why America and England are today both Protestant nations, with similar values.

And all thanks to one brave man, William Tyndale.

Assange, Manning and Snowdon may not yet realise the immensity of their own sacrifices.

    Regards
    Garry

PS last week Bush, like Snowdon, was also stopped from travelling, Bush could not come to Geneva to talk to a group of Swiss Jews who had invited him. An arrest warrant for Bush for torture and war crimes was issued by the Swiss authorities. Bush has already been found guilty of torture war crimes by a court in Malaysia. Snowdon is holed up in Russia, Bush holed up in America. One is global hero, the other, a marionette of the zionists, is a guilty and common war criminal.

  2. Interesting interpretation of Tyndale's story.

The Qur'an, unlike the Bible, has never been monopolized by a priesthood. From the beginning, all Muslims have had to read and memorize at least some passages; and all are encouraged to read and memorize all of it if they can.

The Qur'an says that the monopolization of the Bible by priesthoods led to it being distorted by its self-interested human interpreters. It warns against this happening with the Qur'an. As a result, the Qur'an has always been well-preserved and accessible to all, and there has never been a formal Church (a religious bureaucracy) in Islam. Everyone can "give the sacrament" (lead the prayer). Yes, women too – though not in mixed congregations.

  3. Correction: The Steven Hoffman article on confirmation bias was published in Science Daily, not American Behavioral Scientist, and it wisely refrains from using the loaded term "conspiracy theories." See: “How We Support Our False Beliefs,” Science Daily (Aug. 23, 2009) online at http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/08/090821135020.htm.
