Good questions.
I think Gordon leaks things he can get away with leaking, genuinely wants to solve 9/11 etc., and stays alive by maintaining deniability through the "goofy/unverifiable" flavor associated with some of what he puts out.
The joke, or the point, is that more of what he says is true than most would suspect, or anyone could prove.
That's my take on what he's up to, anyway.

Sometimes I listen to your show with Gordon Duff and I ask myself, how much of this stuff is for real? I know he comes on your show regularly, but is he 100% for real? For example he does not buy the thermite theory, he says that thermite is a government con job. The other is that the guy who killed Trayvon Martin is a member of the ADL. Every news article I have read has stated that he is part latino and catholic. He seems to reference people and places that can not be verified, for example his allegation that Rupert Murdoch and junior are actually synagogue going jews as retold by one of his associates. How can anyone verify the many things he tells you?

i think the connection between mcveigh's doctor and gitmo was very interesting
