Could Obama have stopped the war in Syria before it got out of control? That’s what The Guardian article West ‘ignored Russian offer in 2012 to have Syria’s Assad step aside’ suggests. Middle East expert Alan Hart, in his new article, says: “Syria will be the biggest blot on the Obama presidency, ‘a debacle of staggering proportions.’” In this interview we discuss the refugee crisis and the 9/11-triggered neocon-wars-for-Israel that caused it.
But as bad as Obama is, Alan says, a coming Republican presidency would be much, much worse. Dominated by neocons and by Zionist extremism (both Jewish and Christian varieties), a Republican presidency, Alan fears, would mean World War III.
Alan Hart has served as a back-channel Mideast peace negotiator as well as BBC correspondent. His book Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews is the best available introduction to the conflict in Occupied Palestine.
The case in this podcast has been strongly made that some western countries are used to wreck havoc on the rest of the world, is that Because most people in those western countries are ill-informed.
That couldn't be farther from the truth.
At the risk of sounding cynical, a great deal of people today are rotten inside and the pathology of the heartless narcissistic leaders is only a concentration and a reflection of the collective pathologies of the individuals they rule.
There is an unspoken agreement between the ruled ones and the rulers :
"You lie to us, we'll pretend that we believe you with all our strengh and acting skills, and you leave us alone to roam on the plantation undisturbed as usual (ie : tv shows, ball games, barbecues on hollidays, cheap goods made in slave-shops all around the globe, dating and mind games, feeding the machine by working like mindless robots from 9 to 5…etc)".
Any challenge to the status quo is always repugnant to the consenting hypocritical well-adapted slave. A slave in love with his chains is a fanatic in his own category.
Until people are eager to genuinely change their hearts and minds for the better – including muslims – there will be no positive change in thev world whatsoever.
It is only Allah that can author real positive change in the movie of human experience on earth. But Allah has decided that humans – endowed with the responsability of free-will and higher intellect – have to iniate the conditions that will make Him author a well-deserved happier days for humans on earth. The conditions is that humans have to change their inner-self for the better :

Quran [013:011] : "Verily Allah does not change men's condition unless they change that wich is within themselves".
As a side note, real Freedom, is the freedom of the mind and heart, and nothing else (such as : voting for your politician of choice, obeying your lust, having 139 channels on your TV cable, being able to afford dinner-and-a-movie on Saturday night with your herpes-carrying confused girlfriend…etc).
